4 hours ago is available new software, but via cable i can't download still not visible for me via Garmin express webupdate , mobile app.
My watch is no APAC so should be visible. How long should I wait?

Garmin is currently doing "phased rollouts" for production releases on the Fenix 5 devices. This allows Garmin to ensure that the firmware doesn't have any undetected issues as they gradually release the update to more and more devices.

As of this message, the firmware has been made available to 20% of the registered devices. If it's not available to you right now then you aren't part of the first 20% and will have to wait a fit longer. Typically, the new firmware is made available to all devices within a few days at most.

I think better if they enable for 100% users via webupdate , because I don't like to wait I would like to do workout with new version ;-) anyway will be some bug ;-)

So by jumping from 7.x to 8 does this mean a major firmware release? The release notes did not seem very major. Is it normal with other changes not included in these notes?

I believe this is will be major release ,because they introduce new widget . I already tested in version beta 7,93 nice , but nothing big new like stressscore or training 2.0

Doubt it. Full public releases are x.y0. Internal releases and public betas have 1-9 for the last digit. 7.9x beta releases mean they had to go to 8.0 next, as they don't use numbers like 7.100 or 7.120. If it had jumped from 7.25 straight to 8.0, that would look like a major release.

Nothing about crazy barometer and altimeter readings. Im flying now

Hopefully the new sensor hub update may help with some of your's and some others issues.
It would be useful to know what improvements have been implimented in 5.80 before we update though.

It won't be more than a couple more days at the most, its not availabe in Wales( UK) yet either.

I got it this morning (9AM) in Ireland, via Garmin Express.
