I got a Fenix 5 with the latest official firmware.
I like the preinstalled watchfaces, but wonder how to set the alternative time. Currently it is set to UTC and I dont know how to adjust different times.
Unbelievably, you can't adjust UTC time settings that appear on the stock watchface. I've been emailing Garmin every week asking for a dual time feature for the stock watchface. This latest update actuallys a different time zone widget, which might be as close as we come. Insane that there isnt a UTC offset that one can program.
Even more crazy is how every $20 digital watch from the 1980s and up has a dual time function and my POS $600 Fenix 5 cant tell me the time in a different zone without having to install some horrible looking 3rd party watchface.
I think it's not a big problem for garmin improve preinstalled watchface. And I don't understand why garmin doesn't do it. Add field for second time or maybe field with different data that user can switch by BACK or START button. Suunto has all these things yet. please do not call garminboys with their connectiq watchfaces - they have much more battery drain and have another not adequate restrictions
