Answer call from F5 does not work

Hi,

when somebody calling me, on watch is appeared Answer or Decline call. If I press Decline, call is declined, that works well, but If I press Answer, nothing will happen.
I have Fenix 5 with last 7.60 version and I am using OnePlus 5 with Android 8.0 with OxygenOS 5.0.2

I wrote to Garmin a they said me, that in one or two weeks will be update of Garmin Connect app and it may fix this problem. Stay tuned! :)

New updapte of Garmin Connect app today: the problem is not fixed with Fenix 5s and my Samsung S8 Androïd Oreo 8.0

Can you confirm whether or not this is still an issue for you? Do you have open tickets with Garmin? My Samsung S8 finally received the Android 8.0 SW update a couple days ago, and now I am having the same issue where I can no longer answer a call on my watch. Decline and decline with text functions still work. Just can't answer. I have the Forerunner 645M and Vivoactive3 and confirmed the issue exists on both watches. So I'm thinking this is still an issue with Garmin Connect app and Android 8.0. I talked to Support today and opened a ticket but they didn't seem to think this was still an open issue with the latest GC app update. Let me know.

I just upgraded my phone from the Galaxy S7 to the S9 with Android 8.0.0 and am now having the same issue. My Garmin Connect software for the Fenix 5 is version 8.00.

Not sure what version of Android I had on my S7, but I'm pretty sure that I was running the Fenix 5 version 8.00 software on my watch at that time and all was working fine.

I've not yet opened a ticket with Garmin but will do so when I get a chance.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I have an open ticket with Garmin's engineering team who are still looking into a fix. Received the Android Garmin Connect app update to 4.5.1 today, but the issue still persists. If you guys don't yet have open tickets, it might be good to initiate your own as well to make sure they realize it's a more widespread issue. I've referenced this thread to them also. Will let you know when I get a resolution.

I have the same issue on Note8 after Oreo update... can't answer calls from my fenix 5x either. Really upset about that... thinking of downgrading from Oreo, but really?! Come on Garmin, please fix this... may have to do with permissions, but then Garmin should fix software to ask for this? Hope a solution soon exists. Thanks.
