Do Polar chest straps work with the Garmin Fenix 5X?

Too many dropouts with both Polar H7 and H10.
For my workouts I moved to FR935 that rocks solid.

That's interesting because I moved from Polar to Garmin 4 or 5 years ago. Back then, they didn't communicate with each other. Today, my Garmin HRM as well as my Scoche and Mio also don't communicate with my Polar-compatible treadmill.

I don't use it regularly but if I ride with the watch on the handle bar, I'll wear it. Don't recall it losing any data so far.
