  • Another problem after installing 7.93. No floor count.Compared to other days I should have about 25 floors so far today, F5 says 3. Tried On/off, calibrating with GPS, etc. No luck. Grrrrr!!

for me counting floors correct , but i have still very low HRM zones
  • Have you tried the LTHR Guided Test? (open the Run App then Menu>Training>Lactate Threshold Guided Test) It’s not about hitting a max HR, but rather certain steady paces maintained for long enough, with an associated HR that triggers the LTHR detection to work.

    Other things to consider:
-Is the hr data from the HRM Tri being ‘dropped’ and replaced by wrist HR, resulting in no LTHR detection as wrist HR doesn’t have the accurate HRV required (difficult to notice, but check Garmin Connect to see if Run Dynamics Data is solid through the run, or turn WHR off in the settings)
-Manually enter your resting and maximum HR values on the watch to be sure they are correct
-Confirm on the VO2 Max chart in Garmin Connect that you have had a recent calculation of VO2 Max; the watch requires a VO2 Max value before it will calculate LTHR.
  • You have to run at various paces below and above the LTHR and for a period of time at each pace as well to get it to register.

Strange behavior. Yesterday my F5 started to count floors again and I ended up with 72 floors.
Normal day at work. Counted 3-4 floors the day before when it was NOT working.

But today, back to " normal". Have climbed about 10 floors so far today, and F5 says 0, zero, nothing! So frustrating and unreliable!
    Any suggestion what cause this?

  • Regarding floors try maybe every day calibrate altimeter. After calibrate hours and altimeter for me work , but I don't gave you guarantee this is solution

Have tried calibrate altimeter, barometer, syncing to GC, etc.. Suddenly it started to count floors on the second half of my day. I really dont know what caused it to start count again. But right before bed time the counting was somehow bad again. Has to be a software issue, i think. Have removed non-Garmin software/widgets and all non-stock watch faces, just in case.
Hope for some better stability in final release of FW.

I have installed this Beta software on my Fenix 5, hoping to solve the pairing problems with the Huawei P8 Lite 2017.
At first seemed to work quite well (although after several pairing attempts), only the vibration on the notification was not working (sound only).

Now after 4 days it stopped working, no sync, no notifications.... everything goes right back on!
At the moment the only solution I have found is the removal and the reconfiguration of the device in GC .
