My watch is set to metric, and I've double checked this. BUT, I've noticed this really annoying thing on my F5 (FW7.60). When I run on the treadmill, everything on the watch is in km as expected. Pace is min/km. Distance is km. But if I stop the activity, and select save and calibrate. The calibrated distance has to be inputted in miles. The treadmill displays distance in km and I didn't notice this oddity for my last two runs, so now the accuracy of the treadmill pace and distance on the watch is all screwed up. And when the watch syncs with my phone everything is in km on the phone. Except that my 4.4km run is reported as 7 something and the watch thinks I've done a super fast 5k. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Super annoying!
I don't use a treadmill, but the distance in miles thing happenned to me after the last update.
Easily fixed: Settings> System> Units> Distance = km
Thanks for the reply :) But the problem is that my watch is already set for distance in km. But somehow treadmill calibration happens in miles? Which makes absolutely no sense.
