Training Effect

I was wondering if anyone else is having some weird training effect going on.
Today I ran on the treadmill for about 15 minutes at 7.5 to 8.5 mph and spent about 36% in zone 5 and 42% in zone 4 8% in zone 3
and I had an training effect of aerobic 2.9 and anaerobic .4. This seems a little off to me.
Here's some added information
My VO2Max is 53
I'm 35 140lb's
My resting heart rate today was 56
For the workout my average heart rate was 155 and max was 176.
Does this seem right for the training effect?
If not should I reset the device? I'm on the newest firmware 7.60.
I would like to know how to get to anaerobic I seem to never be able to get there ever since my VO2 Max was calculated.
  • Try an interval workout and push quickly in to Zone 4 or 5 in the hard part. In the rest part allow a true recovery. You should get an anaerobic value.
Also check the heart rate limits, the 7.60 upgraded messed my limits, just noticed this morning in a spin session that I had bike limits with standard values.

The training effect is sometimes strange at beginning, for instances:
a road bike trip with 1H15m: 3.0 Aerobic and 0.6 anaerobic,
a 45m spin interval session: 3.9 aerobic and 1.2 anaerobic.
    a MTB bike trip with 2H 10m: 4.1 aerobic and 3.8 anaerobic.

If you look in to traditional TRIMP training effect the values are completely different and usually the road trip gives higher TRIMP values than the spin classes. As far I understood the anaerobic effect is linked to HR variations and aerobic linked to steady state HR.
