Thanks for the video upload zippy. I just bought the rubber version,I'll use in the summer when I'm in short sleeves. :-)
I bought a 3D printed version before for my fenix 3hr,it snapped in place well, but it fell off after a few weeks, and I lost it, so a full cover rubber version seems a better choice to me.
I wouldn't trust a rubber version. It may fall off. I also don't trust the super hardened special glass on the 5x and have bought a couple of cheap ultra thin screen protectors. I have three on top of each other - better safe than sorry. But despite that, I feel nervous about my expensive watch not looking pristine long after I've stopped using it. So I have now bought a cheap plastic watch and wear that - my 5x is at home in a padded box inside the safe. I'll keep it there for a few years and then sell it second hand for a third of what I paid for it. The new owner will get a great deal.
