immediately after the latest update my Fenix 5 is now in miles. User settings are kilometres and I have restarted resynched, etc. the app shows kilometres properly for all activities but the F5, no. Please fix. Miles are useless when you train in kilometres...
Nope, it will do it even if all the settings are in km - at least that's what it did to me this morning. I'll report again after tomorrow's run but I definitely had a double take this morning - everything the same as usual, and watch shows distance in miles. Settings were not changed (from km) anywhere. To be more specific: all settings in GC and elsewhere said metric system, and I synced all after checking that - and then, when going into the watch, sure enough the units for distance only were set to miles. Looks to me something not cleaned up when moving from beta to production release. Should not happen with updates over a year after product release.
Had the same problem. All other settings stayed metric. Something strange going on with the alarm also. The alarm is set at 7:45, but this morning it started at 7:53.

Please make the subject of the email "units settings - forums" and include the Settings.fit file found on your watch when you plug in to the computer. Look in the Garmin folder, then the Settings folder.
I had this problem following the latest update. I've emailed you my settings.fit file as requested Mel.
mcalista thanks for the tip of Settings>System>Units as I couldn't find where to fix it. I was looking under activity settings and tearing my hair out.
