Fenix 5x firmware update installed yesterday. Now wrist heart rate sensor not working. LEDs not lighting up. I have done a reset and deleted and re-added device with no luck. Any ideas?
Just a follow up. I called Garmin support and after about a 10 minute wait, a tech answered and walked me through a bunch of reset procedures. None of which worked so he sent me a link to reinstall the update. Tried that but still no heart rate monitor. After exhausting this final option Garmin approved a replacement 5x with free shipping for both old and new watches. One bonus, they do not want the band or charging cable returned with the defective watch so now I have a spare band and backup charging cable. My new 5x was shipped yesterday!
Thanks! I had noticed REM sleep wasn’t being recorded and started working out yesterday. Looked at workouts just now and no HR was recorded! Grrr! Thankful for an easy fix!!!! Much appreciated!
