Quick release kit for 5X

Any word on a quick release kit supporting quarter turn bike mounts for the 5X? Aware of the current generic watch bike mount. Seems to be a gap for such a high end watch.

I asked the same thing in the past, but did not receive any responses. I love my fenix and it is ideal for my mix of activities, including bicycling. However it is not optimal in its placement on my wrist or loosely attached to my bike vs a nice quick mount.

You'd really live with a *thicker* Fenix 5x? I don't find it "too thick" now, but I wouldn't want it any thicker. Seems like the rubber handlebar watch mount makes the most sense for a Fenix:

I know it's not as quick as a quick release, but they don't flop around on these and you don't have to worry about where you left your band when it's time to go back on the wrist. I don't see how a quick release kit wouldn't also block the charging port, requiring the kit to be removed when you charge.

I'm not sure if Garmin will make a carrier as for the Forerunner 935 Quick Release Kit. But I'm sure in one thing, because of this plastic piece that I miss so much, I will never buy a Garmin device again.

You won't get an answer, they say that in the terms and conditions, but if enough folks make a suggestion they may follow up on it.
