Fenix 5X shows ‘fastest mile’ record even though it’s set to meters

Hi,

My watch and app seem to be set everywhere to the metric system, but after completing a run, if I get a record notification based on pace, it displays ‘Fastest mile’ instead of kilometer.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Nothing to worry about in my opinion.
My Fenix 5X also shows a "fastest mile" record even though it's set to metrical units.

1 Mile is an official track distance - so it is interesting to know one's personal best...

I don't see the problem. I have my watch set at km, and I get personal records in both km and miles. The same happens in Endomondo when not using the watch. I guess if I set my watch at miles, I would still get personal records in both km and miles.

This gives me an option of comparing my personal times with other runners, even though I have my watch set at a different unit. Why is that a problem?

Nothing new - my F3 shows me fastest 5k in my records even though I'm set to miles.

The watch shows both imperial and metric records,regardless of the unit settings. I am not sure why this is a problem that needs "solving".
