No Notifications V4.2 GCM

Hi,
i just wrote to GarminConnectForum, so, here is my solution which works:

You should delete new version from mobile (GCM 4.2) and download an old one (4.1.9) for ex. here: http://apk.co/garmin/garmin-connect-mobile-419
and enabeld it in mobile for the instalation.
Next pair the watch with GCM.
The best is to send it from PC to mobile by email (gmail), then click and install.
If you do not delete 4.2, it will not work correctly, resp. it will not run.
NOW WORKS WELL AS BEFORE!!!! Uff, I am happy and angry to garmin FOR NO TESTING NEW RELEASES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have notifications again !(no vibe though,may work in a while)
I've just phoned garmin back and pointed them to your post,so they understand" their" problem now.
I expect they'll have a fix out soon that will break something else.......for someone else.

If i hear the words "master reset" from the tech team one more time...!#$?! Lol.

I had the opposite problem, everything started to notify me after upgrading to 4.2.

I went into the smart notification setup and found every single app was set to notify me. I had to disable those apps I did not want to receive notifications for.

Yes there seems to be all sorts of problems with 4.2
So many posts about it over at the GCM Android forums,It's a total mess,but at least its a known issue now.
I'm back on 4.1.9 and everythings normal again.

I reinstalled 4.1.9 but I encountered appairing problems.
When I shutdown the app, my watch lasts the bluetooth connection
