I haven't got a Fenix 5x but I'm thinking about getting one. I have a Fenix 3 and find the off course alerts a nuisance when following a course. The thought of spending a large amount on a Fenix 5x just to have to disable the vibration and tones in order to follow a course, like I need to do with the Fenix 3, does not appeal. There is no way to switch off or change these off course alerts in the Fenix 3 but a recent update of the fenix 5X has
"Added support for configuring 'Off Course' alerts. (Settings > Navigation > Alerts > Off Course)"
Could someone tell me what can be configured in these off course alerts? Can they be switched off completely? Can the distance off course be adjusted like in some previous Garmin watches? Thanks
