Corrupted Display on reboot

Over the weekend, my Fenix 5 froze when charging overnight--I plugged it in around 9pm, and the next morning it was correctly displaying the time as 9:24pm with 86% charged or so (I can't remember exactly, but it wasn't 100%). Thinking nothing of it, I soft rebooted by holding down the Light button (upper left), and got this display appears. The watch appears to be somewhat responsive--the green LEDs on the bottom go on and off if the watch is moved, the display turns black after ~25 seconds of holding down the light button, I can factory reset the watch (it does issue the two beep tones to tell me to release the start then the back button), and the watch appears as a USB drive when connected to my Mac with the USB cable--but the display generally just shows this garbly text, black and white and a bit of blue. The watch was running firmware 7.10, and this is the first time this has happened to me in the nine months I've owned the watch.

Any ideas on how to fix this without sending it in? I've thought about running the battery down to zero somehow, then recharging, but that's a Hail Mary.

I've opened a ticket with Garmin support as well.

Thanks,
