Why there is no paddling widget? I have been using rowing and changing the activity name to paddling, but it is not the same. Any idea why Garmin didn’t add a kayaking widget?
There is both a Paddle and a SUP app in the Fenix 3. As far as I remember, both are disabled by default but you can enable them in Settings. I would be surprised if they are not on the Fenix 5.
There are a couple of aftermarket kayak apps/widgets out there that work OK, no idea why Kayaking isn't on the F5 list of native apps though, I'm sure there are a lot more kayakers than SUPers and skydivers out there...
What if you add a new activity? The watch will give you some templates to choose from, and on my F3 I have found at least one template which does not exist as an activity. So there is a slight chance that SUP or Paddle exist as templates on the F5.
Great! Thanks everyone! I have downloaded the “dozen Paddle & Kayak” app. I will give it a go this weekend as 42 degrees expected in Sydney, so the water would be the best place to cool off :)
