Anyone with a Huawei Mate 10 pro? Stable connection problems...

Hi, with my Mate 9 I had a rock steady connection between the F5 and Mate 9 but with the Mate 10 it's nothing but trouble.
Connection break many times a day, pairing from scratch doesn't help, factory reset watch doesn't help so I'm kinda lost by now...

Anyone out there with this config?.

I have the same configuration as you and everything works great. Mobile phone software version is BLA-L29 8.0.0.127 and Fenix is at 7.10

Ok, I'm gonna clear the mate cache than and I'd that doesn't work factory reset.
I'll let you guys know what happens next.

Did it help? I got a Mate 10 Pro. And I don't get any notifications unless bluetooth is in use eg wireless headphones.

I have the same issue.

Found out that you schould not pair using the phones bluetooth settings, but connect only using garmin connect. And, garmin connect needs to stay open in the background all the time. If Garmin Connect app closes, then I loose connection.

This really sux. On my old Samsung Galaxy S7 there was not problems.

Other really annoying thing is that I cannot use smart unlock using Bluetooth paired device, since the watch isnt paired that way.

I'm on Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Garmin Fenix 5X SW: 8.0. I can keep the connection alive only if I keep Connect IQ open. Did not have this problem with Samsung S7 that I used previously. Anyone find a solution yet. Super annoying...

I lost track of this thread cause I no longer have any problems, connection has been stable for quite some time.
Make sure you keep connect alive by using the latest version (duh) and disable battery optimization for it.

Keeping connect alive witht he "lock" feature so I don't accidently close it. Battery optimization is disabled for it also. With the S7 I didn't need to keep it "open" it just ran in the background. With the Huawei it doesn't seem to do that.

Fenix 5x and P20 pro.
Same story - if "Connect" closed, communication lost. Same, with galaxy s7 edge, all worked smoothly...
