Are there any happy trouble free f5 owners

Been contemplating one of these for a while...but there seem so so many unhappy people with issues.

currently use an edge1000 trouble free bar one update screwing it up but rolling back solved that although garmin said it was not possible to roll back and that would cause me issues...basically completley wrong there garmin...

anyway...and happy owners....

If I was given a fitbit, I'd return it. (Fitbit is actually sending some Iconics out for free for app developers).

I used them for a while, and their data was often bogus - but bogus in a way people didn't complain (the data might show you are doing better at something like steps than you really are)

And yes, don't dare complain on the FitBit website, or you will get banned/blocked! (I was there during the whole "Force" debacle!)

I'm very happy with my F5 and I've had it since it was available, so a number of months.

Never had 1 single issue with my Fenix 5. It is paired to an HRM Run (no dropouts), it get used during Michigan/Canadian winter attached above my sleeves, and it is rock solid. Hands down the beat outdoor watch.

It is worth every penny. The only thing I am missing is the maps function that might make me swap my F5 for an F5X.

I posted a bit earlier about how I was having issues just connecting the Garmin HR strap, but that problem seems to have solved itself. Most complaints seem to be about data dropouts but I have never personally had one, all good here. I was all set to sell this at a big loss but will keep it now, it's a nice product.
