Off course alert settings

According to the release note of firmware 7.0 it is possible to configure alerts of the Off Course options. When I look at the menu I can only set the alert on or off. I was hoping that I could configure the alerts in such a way that I receive every minute an alert during off course. When I am off course, sometime I miss the one alert that is now given. An repeated alert would be very welcome.

It would also be good if you could change how far off course

You are before it gives you an alert I often have to go off course when running on a track to avoid something a fallen tree or burst river

A question from an annoyed Fenix 3 user:
On my F3, if I create a course by stringing together some saved locations in the watch, run along this course and then goes off course, the watch will stop updating the Distance To Next datafield, even though the watch is still able to show me the bearing to the next waypoint all the time.

Does the F5 have the same behaviour, and can you prevent it by disabling the Off Course alert?
