So I know that the temperature sensor on the fenix 5 is located near the wrist and is not accurate for real external temperatures however as of a week or so ago my fenix 5 is reporting temperatures that are completely off the chart stupid high (currently it is reporting 551 F which is not accurate since it is on my wrist) however apparently there is no means to calibrate the temperature.
This is a problem since because of this it no longer correctly records altitude changes correctly since the barometric altimeter isn't changing due to the very high temperature.
At first I thought perhaps it had to do with the recent update to firmware version 7.00 however it seems to have happened to have happened shortly after the update to the however doesn't seem to be directly related to it.
Does anyone have an idea about what might be causing this problem and what can be done to fix it?
