Everything would be a lot easier for us if we knew when it's GCM and when it's the F5.
I've seen the problem with notifications but then I rebooted the phone and everything went ok. The Garmin official 600k challenge is up and I'm getting many notifications on the F5 from the phone, none missed. With Wzp and Messenger it's the same. It works... not related to the F5 (any version) it's GCM.

Installed 7.10 and have a bug I've never seen before. My watch shows that it is not connected to my phone, but on the phone I can see the Fenix 5x is connected via bluetooth. Alerts have stopped showing up on my phone. Opening up the garmin connect app shows that the watch is also not connected and unable to sync.

It did connect properly immediately after installing 7.10 and took a day or so for this to start. I've rebooted the device and my phone a few times without luck.

I was able to wifi sync from the watch.

Yes, me too. A phone reboot sometimes solves this but not always :(
  • Oh look, a fix for alarm syncing! Just kidding..
  • Barometer arrow change if i change altitude even if barometer reading remain stable...
  • Is this still a beta??? It was pushed to my watch last night automatically... And the regular disconnect (requiring restart of my phone) has still not disappeared :(
  • Noticed that lately on my iPhone too. Used to occasionally drop the connection but seems pretty regular now - if the phone is out of reach of the watch. Used to be able to disable and re-enabled connection on watch to get it work but that doesn't work any more. Just a phone reset
