I was wearing my watch today when I noticed some corruption on the home menu. The backlight would come up, but I could not change screens at all. I tried turning it off, and turning it back on again, but now all I get is a blank, white screen. The backlight will still come and off, but I am not even getting a logo on boot. Any suggestions? Or is my unit busted?
If this wouldn't help, load the last F5 beta 7.00 - it contains a special recover firmware (v6.0). Connect your watch to your pc -> go into folder Garmin and delete the complete content in this folder (make a backup ;) ). After then put in there the firmware v6.0 recover image file "GUPDATE.gcd" into the Garmin folder and disconnect your watch.
Now it should install this firmware (or after a restart of your watch if you're actually stuck in the withe screen)...
Problem: - Video: https://youtu.be/u4XhkvCnEoY - If I go to any screen with background white + black = black is gray - If I go to any screen with white background = near nothing or nothing can be readed
