upgrading from F3 to 5X - migrating settings

hi

Just pulled the trigger on a 5x.

is there any method to move all my apps/widgets/settings/workouts etc etc from the Fenix 3 to the 5X. It's going to be painful going through everything and setting them all up by hand.

Hi,
l asked the same question here to.
The advice I was given here on the forum was to use Basecamp for your map personal poi's transfer.

You can send your workouts and courses to the watch from GCM or Express.
As for Apps and widgets,It's best to use Express to install on mass for me, as its quicker than GCM.
You can't drag n drop these files between the watches,as it won't work.

well that was hard work.

reinstalling apps - settings. All the app preferences and screens.

I reckon about 4 or 5 hours work. Garmin should supply some kind of migration tool IMO
