  • I just updated my F5 Sapphire to version 7.0 but bluetooth seems not to be working anymore. Unable to pair my watch with my phone in Garmin Connect.
    Anybody else has the issue?
  • Oeps I was too fast to post . Bluetooth works now... Sorry
  • I think there is a problem with holding down key during the activity.
before i could temporary exit from activity for instance to see clock. Now it has no action. At the beginning I thought that it was because alarm shortcut I set for hold down. But with no shortcut on this key it doesn't work neither
  • Maybe a stupid question, but I have installed beta 7 and wonder if final release will update automatic as before? Or after a beta install, do I have to revert to latest Public release to get back to "normal"?
  • Usually, when a public release comes out with a version number larger than the beta on your watch, it'll update automatically. In this case, if 7.00 ends up being the public release, you'll probably see nothing happen at all when it's released, as Garmin Connect will see your watch as up to date already; then it'll update automatically when the next public release comes out.

I upgrade a brand new watch to 7.0 and try it later:
    1. GPS doesn't work. I waited 1 hour but not GPS active.
    2. Phone reset during activities.
    ......

So I don't is the issues of 7.0 SW or my new watch.

Check the GPS S/W version number on your watch, Settings->About->Down->Down.

It should say 4.30. If not then it is possible something has gone when flashing the firmware. Delete anything in the \GARMIN\REMOTESW folder and copy the GUPDATE.GCD from the GPS_v430 folder in. Reboot the watch and it should install the GPS software again.

SO if we are running this, then we dont need to the release from today right? Or should we revert and get the Public Release?
