I heard the Garmin edge has this feature," incident detection" where it sends a text notification to who ever you want if you have an accident while biking or running. Anybody know if this will ever be available on the Fenix 5x? Thanks
The Edge series tend to be mounted flat, so a large G event out of the horizontal plane is detectable. The number of false alarms that would be triggered on a wrist-worn device would probably be huge.
