Any chance to install Russian language for Fenix 5S (Asia, Singapore)?

I know about Asian watches problem:
Cyrylic language interface is not compatible for Asian version of Fenix watches (encoding problems).
Any chance to force Russian installation interface for Fenix 5S?

Could you recommend to fix this problem?

No way as I know.
It is not about encoding, it is because Garmin don't allow it in APAC versions.

Well, Garmin doesn't warn about this issue. Is it possible to replace Asia version to EU version?

For a refund you have to contact the seller.

If you want your watch replaced by a european version, then you'd need to contact Garmin directly, by I doubt if they comply.

Just a thought.
Assuming that all fenix units are the same just with different SW (based on serial numbers) you might be able to clean install an European version.

Although, I'd definitely consult that with Garmin support first, otherwise you might brick your watch.
There might be other limitations like unit ID, etc.

I never heard about anyone succeeding with replacing APAC firmware with firmware for other region.

it's not good from the Garmin.

In this case, Garmin should print on box - "this version is not compatible with Eastern EU countries"
We have Fenix 5, 5S - only English language is available. It's not possible to add the Russian language. :-(
