Fenix 5 wrist hr problem

Hello,
I have a problem with my fenix 5 wrist hr from time to time.
It usually happens after an activity when I remove my watch from my wrist. After I put it back on the wrist hr leds won't come on and the watch starts displaying wrong and large values between 190-226. My max hr is 187 so they are wrong values. Also I've also tested with the chest hr and the value was 70.
I powered off the watch and start it again but it didn't go away.
After some time it just started to work as it was supposed to work.
Anybody had this issue?
What did you do to fix it?
Is it a bug or a hardware malfunction? (If it's a hardware malfunction it's hard to diagnose since it only happens from time to time).

Thanks in advance!

I have a similar problem, so I'm afraid I can't answer your question.
I have had a Fenix 5 for 2 months, which I had to send back due to a faulty barometer. On the unit that was sent back, the wrist reading seemed very accurate.
Now I have the replacement unit, it does not seem accurate at all. My HR shows as resting at 32, where as the old unit was about 45 (which is more accurate)
I have reset the unit with no joy of sorting the problem.
All the usual things have been checked and yes, the monitor is tight, and i appreciate that wrist hr is never very accurate, but clearly there is a huge discrepancy between the two units!
