Software versions in the subject line. I have an F3, and F5X. Was using the F3 for a few days through yesterday. Turned off the F3 and picked the F5X up this am. The iPhone shows BT connected to the 5X. The watch also buzzed "Connected" when I turn it on, "Disconnected" when I walk out of range (takes me walking quite a ways away), "Connected" when I walk back in range, etc. Just like it should. I took a short walk outside, and it immediately synced into the GC app (once it reconnected within range). Steps, heart rate history etc. seem to be syncing from the watch to the app, including data from the walk.
However, even when connected the GC App says the watch is "Not Connected". Some widgets on the 5X say "Mobile App Connection Required". Not getting weather, notifications, etc. When I try to "Sync now" from the GC app, it fails with "your device seems to be busy, and your sync request timed out. Try again later". Also no BT symbol for connection on watch faces that normally show this. Tried the usual restarting the phone and watch with no success. Connected the 5X to Garmin Express and installed a couple watch face updates. I was looking for an OS update, but none.
All I can think is I've updated the iPhone to 11.1.1 and maybe even 11.1 since I last used this watch.
Any ideas on what else I can do? Thank you.
