How to access GPS altitude on Fenix 5S

Hello,
Is there a way to access the GPS based altitude reading on the Fenix 5S?
By default I know the altitude is derived from the barometer but in some situations this is not desirable as it cannot provide a accurate value (for instance when you are on a plane and want to check your current altitude).

In any activity, you can add a GPS elevation data field. Outside activities, none that I know of (there might be widgets in the app store that provide this, but my recollection when I last looked into this, some time back, was that Connect IQ gave you only the barometric altitude).

Go to altitude widget. Press start - calibrate - enter current elevation? (use GPS) - then it will acquire current altitude from GPS.

Be aware that the gps altitude may also be inaccurate, mine is about 10m out. Nothing I’m worried about but something to factor in
