Auto pause takes too much to resume

Hi guys,

I'm having problems with auto pause.
I use it mainly to save battery on long MTB rides.
It pauses well but takes too long to resume recording the activity I guess because small speeds on hills.
Custom allows only 1 mile/h so I wonder of it's not gonna get worst.
Any one having same issue?

Auto pause isn't going to save battery - the GPS (which is the big power drain) keeps going. In terms of battery life on long rides, consider:

Using Ultratrac mode
Changing your backlight settings (this is the big battery drain after GPS)
Taking a powerbank or the like to recharge during stops.
