I've noticed that many chinese manufacurer are integrating OXIMETER featurer in their smartband I guess soon some reliable manufacturer (MIO?) will do the same It would be nice for Garmin to extend support to connect to such a device

I'm not sure Moxy and Chinese products do the same function. Moxy reports the muscle oxygen levels measured or estimated by help of light via ANT+ connection. So Garmin supports muscle oxygen sensors. But Chinese products are for blood oxygen saturation levels. I think two are different. Also most Chinese products will ever display only %97 or 98 in their lifes and accuracy may make them unusable on situations where oxygen measurement is really needed like during diseases, asthma etc...

There are totally different, Moxy/BSX and the pulse oxymeter sp02. if you got a power meter then you really want to use Moxy/BSX, for running is good too. Sp02 I guess is good just to check adnea while sleeping, in a wereable aspect.
