fēnix 5 Series Malfunction of the compass

Malfunction of the compass

Hello,
compass in my f5x is working not properly. I added a link to show a problem where f5x compass is compared to f3. I did a calibration. System version is 6.00.
Anybody have same issue? Is this a damaged sensor or matter of settings?

My 5x compass behave like yours, too. I have reported that issue two weeks ago to the fw team.

No. I hope that will be fixed soon with an upcoming fw update.

I just got the message from Garmin support, that I have to send F5X to them and it has to be serviced.

I have the same issue on my Fenix 5x. Firmware 6.0

now we are in four....

Don't know if the sensor is damaged, or it's just settings thing, but apparently something is not right with our watches. Hope they know.

I'll send it to Garmin Service as soon as I get email from them with all needed informations. Will see what they do.
