Checking whatsapp - wrong system message

Since v6 I'm seeing several times a day a whatsapp notification on my F5, saying something like 'reading whatsapp messages' or something similar.
This is clearly a system message and should not be displayed. Very annoying as it's not possible to get rid of it.

Please fix mr. Garmin!

Hi! This is a Whatsapp message.

When this happens, the whatsapp app updates the notification text on the mobile, and this is why it appears on our watches.

We should write to whatsapp support and ask to avoid this notification.

(android 7). Yes, great idea. But Whatsapp will not listen to 3 or 50 or even 100 users with a complaint/suggestion...

Same here. Very annoying.

It vibrates every few minutes and the notification goes away super fast.

This a "Silent" notification that doesn't affect Android users so Facebook or WhatsApp doesn't care. It's visible for a split second if you're looking at your notifications panel, it never vibrates on the Cellphone but for that split second the SmartWatch vibrates.

Same here.. Fenix 3, numerous times per day vibrating and informing me that it checks for whatsapp msgs. Really irritating.

I have specifically searched for this topic as really hate this feature. I don't care being notified about something that is only announcng the future, but something that was done already only.
