Has anyone else had an issue with the golf auto-shot detection after 6.00 upgrade? It was working great before but didn't detect 1 shot over 36 holes the last 2 days after upgrading to 6.00. It detected over 90% of my shots on 5.40. Garmin support said that they haven't had any other reports of this issue. All other features seem to work great. I ran 8 miles yesterday using navigation and it was flawless. Thanks
So, it appears to be a new issue with 6 and 6.71. I?m bummed as it worked awesome before. I hope you guys contacted Garmin. They said there were no reports of this when I called.
We are aware of an issue affecting the 6.00 software and 6.71 beta software that prevents autoshot detection from functioning properly. Our Engineering team is working on a software fix, and we should have this resolved within the 1-2 weeks. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Garmin Support - we're now into December and I'm yet to see a firmware update for Fenix 5 (my watch is still on version 6.00) and your post to ThomasK72 suggested that a fix for the broken golf auto shot feature would be released within 1-2 weeks. That was now nearly 2 months ago. Please get this fixed for goodness' sake, one of the main reasons I purchased the Fenix 5 was for the golfing feature, this is getting beyond a joke. Also, I cannot seem to find the 6.75 beta release that has been mentioned by one of your support team in a similar thread, the link on that comment doesn't work either. Just ridiculous. I love my Fenix 5, but would never recommend Garmin products on the basis that you produce lovely devices that are totally let down by useless buggy software!
