Is "storm alert" working on your 5x?

Since fw 5.8x (also with 6.00 and 6.71beta) the "storm alert" seems not to work on my 5x. I have set to the lowest value (2 mb/3 hours) and alarm tone and vibtration are also enabled. The value of 2 mb/3 hours was exceeded for several times without an alarm (sound / vibration + pop up).

Is this working on your 5x?

I have never heard it go off on my watch (is enabled) - didn't hear a peep as we went through Irma either!

Not working on 5x. Today all half day sitting at wotk with friend, his watch f3hr made storm alert due fast changing weather, my f5x was left in silince. Same settings on both watches.

Now that you mention it... Nope... There were like 2 big storms in 2 weeks and no alarm...

I have Fenix 5X and Fenix 3. Have never heard them alert me of a coming storm. I remember some heavy storms with sudden pressure change and my Fenix 3 increased altimeter reading instead of decreasing barometer reading and missed the storm just because barometer reading was not passing limits... But heard it a lot of times on older firmwares, while I was climbing some slopes. :D
Fenix 5X is a different story. Heard it alert me of a coming storm once. But there were no storm, just barometer get mad and measured 0 pressure for a short time.

Storm alert is working on my 5x now.

I have disabled "DND" ( was set only for 22pm to 23 pm) for testing around. With enabled "DND" I even get no storm alert, if the range of set 2mb/3hrs was reached at any time of the day.

This night I got 2 storm alerts at 2 am and at 6 am.

Maybe enabled "DND" is blocking storm alert at all, no matter which time is set?

I am on 6.0 and got one storm alert today, but realized I have DND off. I switched it on and I noticed, that backlight on gesture does not work although it was out of DND time. So it looks that some alerts are blocked by DND ON although out of DND hours.

I have never heard the storm alert go of on my fenix 5X however it goes of at least once a month on my fenix 3 Sapphire. It appears the storm alert function is broken on the fenix 5 watches. I do not know why Garmin does not fix this. Also the barometer/altimeter is much less stable on the fenix 5 watches compared to the fenix 3. It seems the barometric lock function is also broken but never fixed. I hope Garmin will fix these things soon!

I have DND activated (22.30 - 05.20) and I'm getting storm alerts on a frequent basis.
Yesterday I've got two alerts, as the weather really was changing (massive drop in air pressure due to the so called "F?hn" (strong, warm wind) here in Innsbruck).
So for me on Firmware 6.0 the storm alerts are working...

After reading this thread and seeing weather forecast informing about a storm coming the next day I decided to test the storm alert functionality on my F5X (6.71 beta fw.). I enabled it in the barometer widget settings 2 days ago and left it active waiting for the results. Yesterday I got two storm alerts on the watch and about 3 hours later the the huge storm lasting few hours started indeed.
I don't question the problems other users report above but in my case it seems that the storm alert works as it should.
