Auto pause after 1km

Hi,

I having problems to disable the auto pause feature on mu fenix 5.

When i go to Settings ---> Activities & Apps --> Run ---> Run Settings.

I have the following settings
Auto Lap is set to 1.00 km
Auto Pause is set to Off

When i reach the 1.00 km i see the Garmin Triangle on my screen.
After a few seconds it move back to the current activity but on pause.

I'm missing something somewhere else because i checked everything but not able to find it.

Your watch is actually crashing after 1km and then restarting. it will come back to the current activity but in a stopped state. Are you using any IQ data fields? Disabling them is the first thing I would try. Ultimately you might have to do a factory reset but this is a pain as you lose all your settings.

Thanks for your reply, my watch is brand new and yesterday i used it for the first time during a run.
Im not using any IQ data field ( not sure what this is but i guess not )
Im not able to find how to disable them, or are the off by default?

I performed a factory reset and will try this later today to see if it helps.

What software version is the watch on? You can find this under Settings->About

If the factory reset doesn't resolve it I would return the watch for a warranty replacement.

Connect IQ is the framework to customise the watch with additional functionality. https://apps.garmin.com

The watch has the latest version at this moment ( 6.00 (d376ccb) )

Yesterday during my run it has version 5.40 but when i connected the watch to my laptop i updated this to 6.00 , but still crashing after 1 km
But maybe the factory reset do the trick

Its working know after a factory reset!
