Now Not Able to Connect to iPHone

Hi,

I just recently updated to 6.00 with my Fenix -Sapphire, and now it will not connect to my phone. When I go into my iPhone settings, it shows that I am connected to the Fenix.. but when I tried to use it or add it (after I've removed it) to Garmin Connect.. it will not show up in the app. I have tried factory resetting my Fenix to no avail. Anything else I could try?

Figured it out. Just in case anyone else runs into this. I factory reset my Garmin and made sure to delete it from Garmin Express (on my computer and on the website). Then I turned off and on my iPhone and reset the Fenix on both my computer and my phone. Hopefully it keeps working from now on! Update must of messed something up, but glad to have the new All-Day Stress test!

I just received my iPhone 8 and I'm having the same issues. It shows as being connected via bluetooth on my phone, but the device will not show up in the connect app. Not sure if this is IOS related or new phone related. I'm a little frustrated to say the least. Everything was working fine until I got the new phone. Now I want my 6s back!

Same problem with my iphone6 and fenix5 after install the new iOS11. So think the problem is the new iOS.

ios 11 and garmin fenix 5 sapphire. the fenix bluetooth does not work anymore. the garmin connect app does not have the link anymore !!!
HELP ME! plz.

Hi, I don?t think it?s IOS 11, the problem began with Garmin 6. I have IOS11 since tuesday and this problem started on saturday with the 6 arrived.

I had the same issue, but was between V. 5.4 and iOS11. After updated to V 6.0, he connection issue went away. Still on my iPhone 6.

The following procedure worked for me:
1. Remove the fenix from the Connect-App
2. Open the bluetooth settings in iOS and remove the fenix there too
3. Open up Connect-App again and reconnect (you have to start it at the watch at the same time) - you will have to type in the code seen on the watch and voila, connected again

Like I said, for me it worked. But the fenix connected to the iPhone but somehow lost bluetooth connection after a few seconds (could be seen in the settings and also if I tried to reconnect via Connect-App). Deleting the connection and recreating it somehow worked. I got the problem after the update to 6.0, 5.83 worked fine.
