Lol! True... remember those with the Fenix 3 still see gibberish when someone sends an emoji. What year did those things come out? Garmin will never upgrade any feature unless under severe market pressure. They've been dragging their feet on music on the device and if they're not careful it will be the death of them in the watch category.

Tommy, that?s a bit dramatic, isn?t it? I suspect there are more runners who don?t listen to music whilst running than do. Also, of the subset that do I suspect quite a lot of them run with their phone. I?m not saying i wouldn?t like music on a Garmin watch, but I doubt no having it will be the death of Garmin.

Note: I said Garmin 'watches.' If you notice the trend, the key buyers of these fitness trackers are women. I don't see the line of men demanding changeable wristbands with multiple colors. If users could get rid of your phone the would (take for instance the latest iWatch 3 than can even stream music and take calls). If we're honest with ourselves Garmin watches aren't exactly the best products to begin with.

FYI: I run and even race with music and Apple AirPods.

This is something I think would make the notifications so much more useful, is there any way to submit feature requests other than the forums?
