fenix 5x APAC not updating

Not sure whether anyone else having similar issue.
My Fenix 5X is not getting the latest update. 5.40 was released in Aug but Garmin Express only shows 4.2 till date. I have tried with webupdater without success. Tried to update to beta version by copying GCD file to \GARMIN\System_v***, for some reason the watch is not "picking" up the update file either.

The APAC version is on a different firmware and also on a different update schedule. So even if the standard Fenix 5x is at 5.40 the APAC is still 4.20. You just have to wait (me too).

i've contacted them on the matter before, and their response was that in order to localize the firmware to APAC locale, it will usually take around 6-8weeks after the international firmware has been released to the masses. So, based on that i'm thinkng that 5.4 should be available in 3 weeks or so. (hopefully)

Finally 5.40 is here for us APACers as well...
