Weather Widget

Hi guys,

I have a question concerning the weather widget:

I am able to see the current weather situation when navigating to it, but when I push the "select"-button to see details, the only thing I can see is a white screen with the Garmin logo stating: Waiting for data. I was never able to see anything in here. Do I have to activate a setting or do anything else to also see the forecast?

I am using Windows Phone.

Waiting for data means waiting for the app. Does the app say it?s connected? I guess not. Try rebooting the watch or the phone until you get a connection then it should work.

The watch is connected to the phone and the GCM app is also running, still I am not able to see any data. I have tried all combinations several times but was never able to see something here.

In your case I assume you are able to see the forecast? Have you ever seen the "waiting for data" screen?

I?ve only seen waiting for data when there isn?t a connection to the app. Did you restart the watch and phone?

Yes, restarted it already. Guess it is an issue with Windows Phone.

Start the app. Select the menu item "Garmin Devices". You should see your watch listed. Under, it should say "Connected". Is this the case?

Yes, this is the case. I am also constantly receiving notifications, so I do not think it is a connection issue. Also the first page of the widget is updated correctly, it is only about the forecast.
