Controls Menu Items overwritten by Garmin Connect Sync

The watch is on software 5.40 and I'm using the latest Garmin Connect app with my iPhone. The watch is Garmin Fenix 5-Wifi. I have customized the control menu (long press on upper left button),but suddenly I noticed yesterday that all items except 1 will always be deleted every time I sync my watch with the APP.

I could sort of understand if this customization could have been done from the APP and that the APP overwrites the watch settings, but I cannot see that this is possible. Any tips and hints on how to solve this? I tried to remove the watch from the APP and add it back in, but no luck in fixing the problem.

Yes, was okay through most of the day and now all items are deleted.

Also (see separate thread), bogus running/cycling/swimming zones are created every time I sync regardless of what I set these zones to on Garmin Connect. Definitely some sort of an issue happening in the back end.

Just arrived to me today also...
Fenix 5 with 5.40 and Android.

I'm starting to be tired of all the problems that arise each time there is an update or a "fix". (Even if it's looks more like a Connect problem and not a firmware problem here).
Come on Garmin !!!

Confirmed bugs:

- Its created HR Zones for each sports, that cannot be deleted, or they go away when sync (Wifi and PC ? cannot confirm Bluetooth)
- Control Menu Items (Holding the light Buttom) goes away after each sync (same as above, Wifi and PC ? cannot confirm Bluetooth)
- Everytime I sync (Wifi confirmed, not tested on PC, bluetooth is not bugged), the weight from my Garmin Index on Connect is replaced with the one on my Fenix

Had it again today - Control Menu Items (Holding the light Buttom) goes away after each sync - I sync via bluetooth only... I did a reboot on the watch hopjng this helps but I doubt it. Anyone that can help reading this?

After a sync yesterday my "torch" item was replaced by the "power" one, which I already had, so I now have 2 power items which cannot be deleted, at least not from the watch, way to go Garmin!

I just noticed that my HR zones are gone as well... I'm on 6.00 and Connect IOS on 3.22.1
