HRM-Tri /HRM-Swim

Hi,
is anybody using one or both straps and can give me a feedback if they are worth the money?

I have both. They work for me, but you have to judge for yourself if they're worth the money, since they are rather expensive. I received them as a special offer gift with my FR735XT (I received the tri-bundle at a price of the FR735XT alone), otherwise I would not buy them separately. From the two I find the HRM-Swim more useful, as it is the only solution that works in a swimming pool. The HRM-Tri is not much more useful for me than a cheap regular HR strap, because I do not find any value in the extra running dynamics metrics and I do not use HR straps during triathlon races, because I do not need HR data during a race.

and if the strap itself gets old can u just replace the strap like with the old models or do you have to buy a new one including the sensor?

No. The sensors are integrated with the straps, although they are supposedly more durable than the old straps.

PS.: is anybody experiencing an autologout of the forum no matter if u click remember me at the log in? seems to be broken for me since 2 weeks or so... -_-
