The F5, F5s F5x APAC support is appalling. Every problem is managed ad-hoc each time via an unmonitored email address and anything slightly difficult is ignored. Software releases get thrown out to the field 30-60 days after the rest of the world. They say the APAC releases are different/unique/special but when you ask for release notes or problems fixed they refer you back to this forum. So they are the same software with same bugs just much later. Global support refuse to discuss APAC reported problems and APAC support cant. No added value just a layer of job justification . They would fail every organisational quality test for technical support. I doubt they even know what the words root cause analysis or response times mean. If i ever buy a Garmin product again i'll buy it from Australia, Europe or the US.
So here is the release announcement for F5 F5s F5x 6.0 APAC versions. 6.0 will show up 30-60 days. after the global release suckers. Dont expect support.
Day 11 - If I had all day stress monitoring - it would tell me that i'm stressed out that v6.0 is not available for APAC. But since it's not available, I don't really know what my all day stress is like right now. It would be nice if Garmin could give an answer or release v6 for APAC.
On the bright side 30 days don't seem too long........... in the mean time, maybe we can run 10 half marathon and 5 full marathon. And by that time we will get our well deserved 6.0.
Day 12 - According to diki, we only have 9 more days left to wait. On the other hand - Garmin should really say something about this. We don't get access to betas. We don't get global releases. We need more than silence please.
