EPO validity or expiration info

It would be nice to see the validity or the expiration date of the EPO.bin file

Now it is hidden at the end of the about section in settings and it only says if it is current

More visibility and info would be appreciated, maybe with an alarm when the epo expires or a widget.

As dcrainmaker says https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2016/03/why-your-garmin-gps-is-better-off-taking-epo.html, validity of EPO data ranges from 3-14 days.
Personal tests on older fenix 2, show that gps tracks tend to fall apart if epo hasn't updated for over 2 weeks. I would sync it once a week and all seemed fine.

On fenix 5, I would guess you sync it at least once a week (for fitness data), so you should not worry about epo validity.
