I want to add a third Connect IQ datafield to an activity and it tells me to delete another one. Why is the limit set to two? Is it a bug or is it as designed?
I don't understand it. There is an SDK, we can build tons of datafields and we can only use two in an activity? I do understand a limit of....let's say....10.
It's about the memory. The only watch that allows more than 2 is the 735, which allows 3, but to do so, there's no access to the widget loop during an activity on the 735.
It's why a number of CIQ DFs use a full screen, but contain a whole bunch of different things. So more data can be seen in a single DF.
I also hope they will add more memory / processing power to future watches so that more ciq fields can be loaded simultanously. Luckily i have a 735xt so i have 3 :)

After ading more datafields all will cry about the battery.
I also find this super-frustrating, and would love to see even 1 more allowed. I'm not sure much interested in fields to view during the activity, as ones that can record to the FIT file in the background such as Fat burner, Running Vo2max, etc. I'd be happy to take a battery life hit - at the end of the day it's purely option whether you use or not.
