mark message as read

Hi,
I have a problem with marking SMS as read on my phone from the watch.
These are the steps to reproduce:
1. I receive SMS on phone
2. I receive notification about SMS on watch (good)
3. I press dismiss on my watch. (good)
4. Notification about message is cleared on phone (good)
5. I look at SMS messages icon -> and I still see 1 new unread message, need to mark it as read manually on phone (bad)

Is there any way to mark a message as read on the phone from the watch?

It is normal. On the 3th step you delete notification. I does not mean you read that SMS. Just think like that, what about if sms too long. When you press dismiss, does it mean you read ?

I don't have the same behaviour as you. If I dismiss the watch notification then the phone notification disappears. And the message is still unread in my mailbox...
Maybe you have to look into your phone notification parameters or it can be OS related.

So pressing "dismiss" on the watch is equivalent to swiping the notification away on your phone. It doesn't do any actions, just hides the notification. As far as I can tell, you can't "mark as read" for SMSes, which is unfortunate.
