Course and bad orientation

It often happens that the displayed orientation is false. See below. I use GPSIES to plan routes. I import them into garmin connect as a route. ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1243844.jpg

What happens if you import that gpsies route to garmin basecamp and then to the 5x? Maybe only a garmin connect problem?

I have not used basecamp. I realized the route from Ubuntu (web gpsies). I thought the GPX format was a standard format whether it was generated from BaseCamp or GPSIES.

Tested mine last night with a previous run that was stored on my watch. Had the same issue. Only seems to hvae started after the 5.30 update
