Okay, so I'm seeing the HRM drops from the HRM-Run monitor, so today, I had a gym class where the running dynamics weren't important. I decided to use my Wahoo Tickr-X strap/monitor, thinking that maybe it would automagically connect through BTLE. Now, I'm not so sure, as I see drops on that HR graph too. So, this brings up a question, on a device that is both, BTLE, and ANT+, is there a way to force a BTLE connection?
Yes. Delete or turn Off the ANT+ pairing in the sensor settings and ensure the BLE pairing is active (shows 'searching' in the sensor settings) and works (shows 'Connected' in the sensor settings when the HRM is on).

Color me stupid, I cannot find where to turn off the ANT+ in any of the sensor settings. The only thing I have for the Tickr is "Connect", "Status (Searching)" "Name", and "Remove". This is in the watch, Menu->Settings->Sensors and Accessories ->Tickr-X. It does the "searching" thing, and "Connected with Tickr-X" when I'm using it, but it is still dropping out. I had a Suunto Smart Sensor (BTLE), and it didn't to my knowledge have any drops. Of course, the Smart Sensor stores the data, so it may simply interpolating HR info when it does drop. No big thing, the drops aren't big enough to really affect anything, but being OCD like I am, things must be "in order"... LOL!
Of course, it could just be those anolomies that come from when the contacts don't have good contact, being overweight, (main reason for wanting to watch my heart, coupled with age), that's a real possibility, and I've accepted that in the Yoga classes.. Anyway, thanks for the input.
