RACE ACTIVITY 5.30 - doesnt work

The problem still the same as with 5.10. With version 4.10 it was OK:
After MASTER RESET and downloading 5.30.
Run - race activity - history - (select activity) - start (after GPS fix).

And doing a race during trail running is quite questionable without proper navigation - Can I combine race an activity with navigation on the same activity ? If I want to beat myself I need to follow the same course as last time.

You should be able to achieve the effect you are after by adding the virtual partner data screen in your activity app settings, then open the navigate options in the activity app and select the past activity to navigate.

Strava segment alerts don't work during race an activity ? :-o

As far as I can tell, the way Strava segments work is the watch uses a form of course navigation over all of the little segment files uploaded to the watch. It would seem that the watch cannot cope with doing two forms of navigation at the same time, so I have always found that the Strava segments will not work when navigating a course or racing an activity as the watch can't navigate both files at the same time.
