I updated my firmware last night and charged my f5. Tonight my f5 synced with my Stryd worn on right foot, f5 on left wrist. My stryd and f5 have never failed to sync in the month I have had my f5 so I am happy that hasn't altered. I'm sure the battery hasn't drained any quicker since the update. The stryd was also in it's new little pouch that attaches to the laces. Gps tracking looks as good as it did before, I ran the same route so I could compare distance. No drop outs during the run.
I haven't tried syncing to my stages power meter again but I'm not holding my breath. I know dc rainmaker now thinks this is a hardware issue but mine synced for my first couple of rides so I do hope this can be fixed via firmware.
